But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually risen the price of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In a region that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one business is making the most of the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving successful too, already their client-list includes McDonald's.
